CAPC collection, ca. 1885-1973.

Contains approximately 1,470 images of theaters, chiefly Chicago area theaters for Balaban & Katz (Paramount Publix), but also includes a few theaters in Illinois, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York (State), Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington (State), and Wisconsin. Mostly contains 8"x10" film negatives, but also some 5"x7" and 4"x5" film negatives; some are copy negatives due to deterioration to damage of the original negative. Damaged and/or copy negatives are annotated in the index.
